Pottery in the Park is a unique pottery studio located in the heart of Hainault Forest Country Park.
Our philosophy is to provide a fun and engaging experience for our visitors, where they can explore their artistic abilities in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Our studio is designed to cater to both children and adults, making it a perfect destination for families, groups, and individuals. We believe that everyone is an artist, and we are here to help you discover your inner creativity.

Choose your bisque ornament, mug or plate etc.

Paint it with our range of non toxic colourful paints.

We keep it to glaze and fire it for you in our kiln.

You return to collect it approximately 2 weeks later!

A £5 studio fee added to cost of item covers the paints, glazing and firing.

We stock a wide range of differently priced items for you to choose from.

Are you ready to try something new?
Come and experience the wonder of creating your own work of art in clay! There are two options:
HANDBUILDING
90 minutes of creating your own unique piece under the guidance of our resident potter.
Afterwards, it will be dried and fired in our kiln, and you will return and decorate it around 2-3 weeks later.
Your unique creation will then be glazed and fired again in the kiln.
POTTERY WHEEL SESSION
A one-hour guided session with our resident potter.
Afterwards, it will be dried and fired in our kiln, and you will return and decorate it around 2-3 weeks later. Your unique creation will then be glazed and fired again in the kiln.
